Well guys, truth is at 40+ most women consider you to be the ideal marriage candidate. I mean, by this time you probably attained some milestones in your life. You have built or bought yourself a nice house, you are in your dream job and yes, you are living it up.All you need to complete this pretty picture is that special someone.

Male baby boomers fall into two broad categories; those who have married at one time or another and those who are yet to experience marital bliss. Despite which category you fall into, there are some must learn dating tips if you intend to change your marital status in the near future.

To find that special someone takes some doing. You will probably need to put as much effort as you did to get that job. But effort alone will not be enough. You will also have to do the following:

Good Grooming
First time appearances are very important. Few will have time for a 40+ man who appears not to have mastered the basics of good grooming. Your hair should be well kept and you should always dress decently.

Go out and mingle
It does not help much to just sit at home watching Monday football and have a few beers with your buddies. If you are hoping to get a woman to go for a date with you then you have to get up and go find the women.

Do an honest compatibility analysis
For male baby boomers, dating is more than just having a good time. You should realize that the clock is ticking. Dating should be focused on finding someone whom you are compatible with. This can be someone with similar ambitions, hobbies or interest as you.

Redefine yourself
This can involve getting rid of those nasty habits which seem to drive women nuts and away from you. If you smoke, try and quit. If you drink one too many beers, try to cut on the consumption.
